Motorola Packed and Affordable

You would be surprised with just what you can get in an entry-level mobile phone these days.

Motorola's latest entry, the W270, comes with most of the features you'd expect from more expensive phones, like music playback with dedicated music keys, a microSD card slot, a built-in FM radio tuner with RDS (Radio Data System) support and a talk time of up to nine hours.

The phone isn't a 3G phone, but supports quad-band GSM and like all Motorola phones, supports CrystalTalk technology which helps reduce background noise when making phone calls.

Cheap, yes. Cool, Absolutely.

HTC Touch Diamond Smartphone

One cool gadget added to the HTC flagship, which is the Touch Diamond.

Featuring stunning aesthetics such as a black steel finish and a unique shaped back, the compact smartphone is sure to hit with the fashion conscious.

This cool gadget main draw is its fast HSDPA 7.2Mbps wireless connection speed, which deliver an improved web browsing experience. Featuring Opera based web browser, this cool gadget allows you to zoom and pan, giving you easier way to navigate websites.

Turning this cool gadget sideways automatically rotates the page view from portrait to landscape mode.

There's also a YouTube application that you can use to watch or upload video content on the go in this nifty cool gadget.

Other features included are a 2.8in LCD with VGA resolution, 802.11b/g WiFi connectivity, 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera, 4GB of internal memory and integrated GPS.

And last but not least is a touch-responsive user interface called TouchFlo 3D that replaces the standard Windows Mobile Today screen and gives you easy access to contacts, music, video, photos and weather forecast.

Bluetooth Stereo Headset

The Clip D-Radio Bluetooth headset from i.Tech not only packs the requisite A2DP and AVCRP profiles when used together with a Bluetooth-enabled phone, but also comes with an FM radio and loads of other features in a compact body.

A2DP and AVCRP profiles allow for stereo audio and handsfree use respectively.

Another feature is the CSR BlueCore5-Multimedia digital signal processor with Clear Voice Capture Technology, so you can make calls or listen to music with less annoying echo and background noise.

As mentioned earlier, there's a built-in FM radio and the headset lets users preset up to four favourite stations.

There's also an OLED display to show the user a variety of useful information, such as Caller ID, missed calls, battery status, pairing status, and spectrum analyser (during music playback).

According to the specifications provided, the Clip-D Radio headset supports the latest Bluetooth v2.1+EDR Class 2 specification, which means it is claimed to offer better battery life and easier pairing with compatible devices.

Talktime and music-playing time is rated at up to seven hours, while standby time is a claimed 150 hours.
